Feng shui relies on the application of the Bagua Map. The nine Bagua areas of life are:

Career
This area refers to the job, but can also mean passage of life.

Wisdom and Knowledge
this area represents learning, knowledge or study.

Health and Family
This area represents physical and emotional health. In addition it also represents the ancestors, current family and friends.

Fame and Reputation
This area represents how the world sees you.

Love and Marriage
This represents personal relationships - like those between husband and wife, good friends, etc.

Children and Creativity
It represents children or anything creative.

Helpful People
This area represents relationships with people rather than the intimate family and friends, such as a stranger who had influenced your life, your boss at work, your spiritual guide, etc.

Center or chi
This area harmonises all the areas together. It forms the center of Bagua and represents health and longevity. It should be as clean and uncluttered as possible.
